Summer is here and in tropical countries like the Philippines beaches are a popular destination for summer activities. If you're looking for a beach in Bohol, head off to Dumaluan Beach Resort!

Dumaluan Beach Resort boasts of a palm-fringed, white sand beach and crystal blue waters. It is the first resort to be developed in Panglao and started out as a private beach, a kind of secret paradise where the Dumaluan clan went to celebrate birthdays and reunions.

Today Dumaluan Beach Resort remains one of the top choices for family reunions, team building activities and summer getaways in Panglao. Here are some fun things you can do while at Dumaluan Beach Resort:

A trip to the beach will never be complete without enjoying the sun, sand and sea. Dumaluan Beach Resort has an ample shoreline with soft, powder white sand perfect for sunbathing. The crystal blue green waters are also irresistible. This place is s a postcard perfect paradise!

Relax in the private rooms

You can fully enjoy the resort by checking into one of their rooms. Dumaluan Beach Resort has a variety of accommodations for different group sizes and budget. The resort has 18 rooms plus 10 more under construction.

I was able to try one of the new, air-conditioned rooms while on the Seas the Day Bohol Tour. I loved how clean, comfortable and sleek the rooms were! I would have just preferred to stay in and lounge all day if the beach wasn’t so tempting!

Go kayaking

One of the highlights of our Seas the Day Bohol Tour was the kayaking clinic we had at Dumaluan Beach Resort. The clinic was hosted by Bohol Paddlers Association, Inc., one of Bohol’s premier clubs for water sports and activities. Most of us in the group had not tried kayaking before but the guides were very patient and accommodating so we all had an awesome time!

If you’re in Bohol and would like to learn water sports like kayaking and stand up paddle board, I suggest you contact Bohol Paddlers Association, Inc. on Facebook for more information.

Enjoy other water sports and activities

Aside from kayaking, Dumaluan Beach Resort also offers a wide range of fun activities like dolphin watching and island hopping. The place also has its own videoke station in case you want to sing with your friends and family. If you and your friends are the sporty type, you can also play volleyball at the resort’s court.
